After graduating from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, my only goal was to be an attorney for the community and fight for the rights of the disenfranchised citizens of Los Angeles. I joined the Los Angeles County Public Defender’s office with the sole purpose to provide representation for the indigent. Recognizing the inequities in our justice system, I developed a passion for advocating for those that were charged with crimes in Los Angeles, but did not have the money for representation.
During my 13 year tenure at the Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office I represented over 5,000 individuals who were charged with various misdemeanor and felony offenses. I represented individuals charged with Driving under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs, as well as those charged with Homicide, and everything in between.
It’s important to have a lawyer on your side who is dedicated to helping people.
